This section is the explosive new news that you're just dying to hear about

  • Soon available in audio

I've been working on doing an audio version of Indomitus Est, and will then do the other books. It seems like audio books are what people really want now, so your loyal author is going to spend a couple hours every night doing this for you.

More on this as it develops
  • Well, if you haven't been here in a while, you'll notice that updated the page.

Another thing you might notice is that there is now a 'special offer.'

For $13.75 you can now obtain a signed, paperback copy of Indomitus Est! I'm running this using PayPal, which is NOT easy to integrate with. If you have any difficulty with it, send me a message.

  • See an interview about the Fovean Chronicles here with Frances Jewel Filson.
  • Well, the series is done!

I've committed the final book, Semper Indomitus, to Amazon, and it will be available hopefully by Christmas.

This novel answers all of the questions - what the Druid's secret is, what War was expecting, what the prophesy means.

The ending will blow you away.

  • More news about the book release

The release of the final novel in the Fovean Chronicles series, Semper Indomitus, had to be delayed until I could rewrite the first two novels in the series for the final time. Now the break between the first novel and the second makes more sense. If you've already ready read them then don't bother buying them again - it's the same words with a different break.

I'm still shooting for a December release of the final book. I just have a few tweaks to the rest of the series. Again - nothing to make you rebuy them.

Thank you, my loyal readers, and Happy Holidays

  • I'm hard at work doing a final edit of the Fovean Chronicles. I plan to really focus on it for the next month, to have Semper Indomitus out by December.

If you'd like to help with proof reading, let me know!

  • Semper Indomitus is finished!

The book is done, the rewrite begins, and then the final edition. My loyal fans will be enjoying this soon!

Thank you all for your patience, you will not be disappointed.

  • Nearly ready for editing Semper Indomitus

Hello, loyal fans. It took a retreat to Costa Rica, but I'm nearly done with the first pass on Semper Indomitus. That means the editing pass, the clean up and then to you, my loyal readers, all of which should happen before Christmas!

If you're interested in being a proof reader, let me know!

    I'll likely need three.
  • NaNoWriMo is over, and Semper Indomitus is 50,000 words closer to being complete.

I'm hoping to finish by the end of the year, then have editing done before spring

I'm looking for an illustrator now - if you have real book cover talents, go to the 'contact' page and let me know!
  • Today is the start of the NaNoWriMo and the final step in completing Semper Indomitus, the last book in the Fovean Chronicles. You'll be seeing more updates as I make more progress.
  • Continuing on with the final book

I just wanted to let you loyal readers that progress is continuing with the final book in the series Semper Indomitus. It's a lot of work, but I'm plodding on.
If you're interested in reading the rough, let me know
  • Tomorrow you will be able to download Indomitus Sum for free on your Kindle. This sale will last for 5 days. I hope you all enjoy it, and read the rest of the books as well. I'm making steady progress on the next book, "Semper Indomitus"
  • Welcome to the new forum. As you can tell, we lost some of the news articles, but we have a better place to park this, and a better site to use.

I hope you take advantage of the new forum - log in and let me know what you think! I'll have some more topics on there soon!

  • Well, the NaNoWriMo came and went, and I barely touched it. Before I complete work on Fovea, I am battening the horse farm down for winter, which includes building a barn. Ever build a barn by yourself? Yeah, that's a lot of fun. My thumb will mostly grow back before Christmas hopefully and, like a cat, if I fall off of a roof, I tend to mostly land on my feet! The book is on hold until January, I'm afraid.
  • The NaNoWriMo has begun. Expect to see "Daddy's Girl" pretty soon! I DID take some time, tho, to upgrade those ugly buttons on the side.
  • Good news! Good News! Prodigal Son has been released on Amazon, after I spent the last year working on it.

Prodigal Son was my NaNoWriMo project last year, and seeing as I'm about to start another one, Daddy's Girl, I figured it was time to put the first to bed.

Of course, Not Your Father's Eldadorian Empire has been in the background this entire time, so I'd REALLY like to make a final dent in that this month. I guess you've got a very busy writer here.

On a personal note, living on the Tennessee horse farm for my first year has been a great way to get rid of all of that unwanted money! Very rewarding - we've rescued 4 horses this year with our limited resources, and will be welcoming a new horse, Baby Girl next weekend. She's a Tennessee Walking Horse, and what better place to own one? I'll see that she makes it on to the website.
  • Good news, my little droogies! Prodigal Son is off to the printer and will soon be available for you to purchase.

November is the NaNoWriMo, and I'm thinking that that will be the opportunity to write "Daddy's Girl." For that, I'm going to need a female proof reader.

    Any takers?
  • Well, it's time to update this page again, and we're going to start with the community. If you're reading this and you have an idea about what you're like to see in the Community section, then send me an Email and let me know what you think.
  • Been wondering what's been going on lately? Well, your beloved author has been trying to collect his thoughts for the conclusion of Not Your Father's Eldadorian Empire, which is Book One of the Intermission

This included rereading the entire series, and (go figure this) the completion of Book Three of the Intermission, Prodigal Son which will soon be available online.

Sorry this is going so slowly - I want to provide something really different in the Intermission, and being the first author that I know of to do this sort of thing, I'm blazing new ground here.
  • If you haven't noticed, Indomitus Oriens has a new cover based on the artwork of Jennifer Lee Brady, and is now available on Amazon.com. I'm also showing where you can get the e-book for less than $4.00.

I'm soon releasing Prodigal Son, as well - so stay tuned!
  • Well, you might have noticed that the books weren't loading right, like they were supposed to.
Of course, I didn't notice until I loaded a new chapter, but when I did notice, I fixed it.
I guess I should haveb wondered why no one was reading the books.
    This was fixed recently
  • Well, I recovered a lot of the news board. Not the best job of backing up I ever did.
As you can see, I've gotten HTML into the gridview here. It should give a better effect. The best part is that I can do the updates online from anywhere, meaning that you'll be getting better and more News updates.

We're about a week from being able to download Indomitus Oriens on Amazon and, if you go to the Purchase page, you can actually see where you can buy Indomitus Est on Amazon.

I'll be making Prodigal Son available next, and I'm about 1/3 of the way through Not Your Father's Eldadorian Empire
  • Well, the email is finally fixed. Don't blame me for that one - we're using Go Daddy' here, and it does NOT like to send e-mails.
If you'd like to send me an email now, I'll actually get it
  • OK, loyal fans, it's been a while, I know, but there's some new changes you're going to see on the site.
First of all, you can now buy the books for much less on Amazon and Kindle.
Second, the proceeds now go to equine rescue.
Third - I lost a lot of the news pages here, but you have to start over some times, and this is one of them.
So as I busily crank out the Intermission sub series, tell your friends about the new changes!
  • Well, it was a heck of a month, but I actually achieved the NaNoWriMo challenge, and wrote "Prodigal Son," in 30 days.
It actually turned out really good. You'll be able to download it soon from the web site.
  • Two entries in the same month - can you guys stand it?

Well, the first thing is that there is another new chapter on the "Not For Father's Eldadorian Empire" section.
This chapter actually turned out very well, and I think you're going to see a lot of stuff come together when you read it.

Now, November is National Novel Writing Month, and what THAT means is that I'll be doing a chapter a day, every day, for thirty days. This is going to be the "Prodigal Son" book, which is the one that best lends itself to bulling through.

Of course, you'll be getting lots of information posted up for you in November, so I'm going to be getting hot on the forum this week.

Finally, I'd like some feedback on whether you all want notification when a new chapter comes out. I've gotten some feedback that says that it would be easier on the fans.

    Let me know!
  • Well, who knew that there were more than 100 of you waiting to read the new book? I'd better get busier. Right now, I've just moved to Knoxville, TN, and getting the ranch in place. I've polished off two new chapters for you all (see how I say 'you all' now?) and they're under "Not Your Father's Eldadorian Empire." Just register to read them.
I've added a log off function for the site, as well as cleaned up the page after when you register. I think that that was confusing for some of you.
I want you to remember that this is YOUR site, too! Go to the contact section and tell me what you'd like to see here.
  • Some more progress on the site - if you register, you can now start reading the newest book. I'll add the page where you can comment on it next.
  • Well, the site is another few steps closer to done. I have the email working now and, if you haven't noticed, you can't download the books from IntWiz.com any more.
I've begun the work on Not Your Father's Eldadorian Empire. It's turning out pretty well.
Many thanks to Jim Davidson for his review of Indomitus Est
That's it for now. I'm finally leaving Hell's Waiting Room - um, I mean, Orlando, FL, so responses here can be spotty.
  • Ok, here's the deal: Indomitus Oriens is in the final stages of editing, and will soon go to print.
As you can tell, I've pulled the books from IntWiz.com to here, and you can't read them for free anymore.
The next three books will be:

    Not Your Father's Eldadorian Empire
    Daddy's Girl
    Prodigal Son

These three books will be overlapping interrim books to tie up all of the loose ends left after Indomitus Oriens.
These are going to be shorter books, much easier to read.
  • Happy day! Happy day! Book Two is finished.

Ok, kiddies - here's how it works. Now you've got no excuse not to comment (see the Community page). As long as I'm getting feed back, here or on the Sennadar forum, it stays free.
Let me down, and I pull it, and you can pay to read.
  • Chapter 47 is out - I think the next one does it.
And now for something completely different, I've bought the web site Swords And Sorcery. Was kind of surprised to find that available, actually. Now I'm developing a forum there, and I plan to move this site to there, and drop this site. IntWiz.com has been good for me, but in fact it has almost nothing to do with my books.
  • Posted an update to chapter 46 - it's a must read. Working on the final chapters now - time to put this to bed, as I'm already working on book three - Indomitus Vincit.
  • I did another chapter this weekend, AND added the comment section under Community. I think this one is a lot better than the last.
I'm really looking forward to hearing from some of you on how you like the changed ending and the new site.
  • OK, the big edits are through the grinder and Chapter 44 is finally updated. Looking to hear from people who've read both versions to see what they thing. E-mail me if you have an opinion to share.
  • Updated the web site - what do you think?
  • Updated Chapter 43, and starting on 44. Looking very good to put the book to bed this week
  • Updates are done up to chapter 42 now. If anyone has read both, I'd REALLY like some opinions!
  • Well, the rewrite is underway, as is the new site. I've just reposted Chapter 40, and updated chapter 41. If you've been following the series, then you really want to reread these chapters.
I'm off this week, so hopefully we're going to finish the first pass on this thing right away.
  • Tonight I posted the new 39 and 40. I'm leaving the old ones on there for comparison. I'd really like to hear from you all either hear or on the forum, about what you think.
  • Ok, ok - I know. You're waiting for the end, and you know it's coming. Sorry, kiddies, it's rewrite time. This happens in the creative process, I didn't like how it got where it's going, so it's being rewritten from chapter 39 on.
  • Happy Veteran's day, everyone. We're at 43 chapter and about 550 book pages now, so plan on then end coming soon.
I'm not getting any feedback, and yet about 50 of you hit the site and read me per day. I'd REALLY like to think that this is more to some of you than free reading. If you aren't comfortable leaving the comment in the comments section, then look at the Sennadar link and use the forum there.
  • Chapter 23 is rewritten to preset the Aschire fear of being alone, which Vulpe mentions in chapter 40 I'm getting ready to close this up.
  • Well, guys - wish your author a happy 43rd
Chapter 38 was rewritten. 40 is almost done
I'd like to hear some opinions under comments about how you feel about the characters - especially Bill/Jack.
  • Chapter 37 also rewritten. 36 rewritten again to foreshadow Raven's transition and realization of her power
  • Chapters 34 - 36 have been rewritten to give Raven more of a reaction to Jack's leaving
